Maarten has a design and engineering background and has been involved in many industrial and resource projects. He has been advisor, consultant and project director for a number of international ventures including processing of Australian lamb for export to global markets and has been responsible for pioneering value added product marketing strategies.

His research and extensive investigation into prevailing aquaculture technologies worldwide and existing operations throughout the Indonesian archipelago has given him a solid background in the aquaculture industry. 

EXPERIENCED TEAM 

Together, the consultancy team have many years of experience in the aquaculture industry and have successfully worked with national and local governments, multinational companies and privately owned fish farming enterprises in Europe, Canada, the US, Southeast Asia and Australia.

Their expertise are in the development of new aquaculture opportunities and business planning, advanced technology in surveillance and data collecting programs, hatchery design and management, sea cage farming, aquatic animal health, sustainable development of aquaculture in the tropics, marine biotechnology, interdisciplinary environmental science, operational management and marketing innovation and development.
